Netflix to setup it's own official UK age ratings for its own films and shows. This will advanced by it's own algorithm. Till now, the ratings set by British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) was PG, 12 and 18. Netflix will be the first company to be approved by BBFC. According to the algorithm, words like violence and swearing will be picked automatically as per age rating. As said by BBFC spokeswoman, "This is the first time that the BBFC have collaborated with a content provider and put together a scheme that will eventually mean that they will rate their own content. This content will then receive a BBFC rating." Though it will take a year long piloting, but as per them this will bring accurate results. Also series and films on Netflix will have BBFC rating overall. "Our research clearly shows a desire from the public to see the same trusted ratings they expect at the cinema," BBFC chief executive David Austin said.

Earthquake in Mariana Trench!

Image
As per the research there are no major earthquakes recorded in the deepest point in the ocean on earth till now. But talking about the minor one, they are many. In 2016, researchers heard an earthquake from the dead end of it i.e. Challenger Deep in Mariana Trench. A NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) project lowered a microphone which can work under water at that greater depth which is also known as hydrophone. They did this in July and took out the hydrophone in November. Over the course period, they gave a recorded file which is copyrighted by them. If you are curious about how it actually sounds at that great depth, below is link. Deepest part of the ocean!

Deepest point in the ocean on earth is the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench. In 2010, United States Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping measured the depth at 10,994 meters (36,070 feet) below sea level with an estimated accuracy of ± 40 meters. If the highest mountain on the earth, Mount Everest were to be placed at this location it would be covered up by over one mile of water. However the first ever depth measurement in the Mariana Trench was made by the British survey ship HMS Challenger. This ship was used by Royal Navy in 1875 to conduct research on trench. At that time the measured depth was 8,184 meters (26,850 feet) which was the greatest measurement at time. After 76 years, In 1951, another Royal Navy vessel, also names as HMS Challenger went for even more accurate measurement. The depth of 10,900 meters (35,760 feet) was recorded by echo sounding technology. Royal Navy vessel named that as The Challenger Deep after this measurement. While in 2009, sonar m...
